The estimated time for surgery is 8 - 10 hours.
Brad arrived this morning from Chilliwack, BC and is staying here with me.
The other children have gone home to be with their families.
We give praise to God alone that this is possible and that He will watch over Pete and guide the hands of the doctors and all who are caring over Pete.
Thanks for the update Marg. Glad that Brad is staying with you. Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this trying time..
ReplyDeletePraying all goes well and according to God's plan.
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear that he is already receiving new lungs we are praying that the Lord provides all you need now and in the coming days and that all may go well.
ReplyDeleteThankful that it is going ahead and that Brad can be with you. I hope you feel embraced by GOD's love and our thoughts and prayers. I'm still in shock that it went so quickly and can't imagine how you must feel.

Praise the Lord . I have been praying almost all day. Thanks for the update. I sent a message earlier also as anonymous because I don't know anything about URLs etc. and it isn't up there. I hope this one works. But if it doesn't then just believe that we are with you in spirit. Kathleen
ReplyDeleteWe give much thanks that all has gone so quick, as we have been praying constantly since we heard last night and also singing some beautiful hymns with some friends at the beginning of the surgery for you! We pray that our gracious God and provider of all upholds you and the medical staff and gives everyone all that is needed to make this a successful operation! Love, prayers and hugs for the whole family, Henk and Janice
ReplyDeleteThat was fast! Praying all goes well!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, remember that joy is not necessarily found in the absence of suffering and trying times, but rather in the presence of God; may He give you all strength and peace of mind, and may He also give to all those looking after Peter what they need for this to be a successful surgery. You are in our prayers! Thad & Anita
ReplyDeleteMargaret and Pete we are so happy that you got the call. We know how very important that call was. Margaret please take care of yourself these next few weeks as Pete will be taken care of. Be good to yourself by taking a time for you. This has been a long journey and there is still more to see. Again we are thrilled for both of you. If you need to talk we are here for you. Sandy and Darrell Hillis
ReplyDeleteWe are also praying with and for you all. Henry and Marie and boys.
